Carnival pulled out all the stops with this water park. You can’t miss the two waterslides that help make up one of the largest water parks at sea. The Twister is a 312-foot-long water slide and the DrainPipe goes even faster and then dumps you into a large basin.

Then again, why sign up for a Fun Ship if you're seeking tranquility?
Suite (JS)
You would have a much better bet choosing a resort with a huge pool complex. That being said, a quick dip in the pool can be nice on a hot day. If you want to spend all day in a pool, a cruise might not be the right choice.
Onboard Activities
Our counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are there to make sure everyone in these small groups has an amazing time. On Carnival Breeze, Deluxe Ocean View staterooms are a great choice for families who want to let the sun shine in as they sail. With more space for stretching out indoors, plus a large balcony for kicking back outdoors, try an Ocean Suite to experience private, luxurious relaxation. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool tub. Each of Carnival's ships offers a unique layout with features and activities catered to all.
A magically blissful adults-only area that's available to guests 21 years of age and older; it features everything necessary to create the perfect "me-time" moments. Ah, imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer's zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but well-manicured fairway... Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small!
Select ships have side-by-side racing slides, which make serious competition seriously fun. Wear your speed suit for Speedway Splash, which features hundreds of feet of racing action, plus special lighting effects you'll experience on the road to victory. DrainPipe ends with one major swirl of a finish, while PowerDrencher takes soaking seriously — imagine the biggest bucket of water you've ever seen, raining down on you from above.
During the day, kids make a beeline for two scream-inducing water slides, mini-golf and an elevated ropes course. Is there a better place to relax than aboard a cruise ship? Step aboard Carnival Breeze® for a cruise to the Caribbean or the pink-sand beaches of Bermuda, and you’ll leave all your cares to embrace food, fun and adventure on the high seas. Other parts of the cruise liner coddle tweens and teens with Wii video games, dance floors, and more. There are also “DiveIn Movies at the Seaside Theater” outdoors with free popcorn and blankets. Fun lovers of all ages will appreciate the 214-foot long Twister waterslide, not to mention PowerDrencher dump bucket, 3 pools, and 7 hot tubs. At SportsSquare, the ship has the 230foot SkyCourse ropes course, where guests can choose between beginner and intermediate courses above the top deck. Carnival Breeze® is the ultimate family cruise ship, since it’s packed with pools and play areas for kids. No worries – we’ve got plenty of spaces for grown-ups to unwind as well.
Carnival Breeze has all the bells and whistles of a Carnival “Fun Ship” with several bars, lounges and restaurants. Built in 2012, you can also enjoy the SkyCourse, an exciting ropes course, and the Punchliner Comedy Club presented by George Lopez on the Carnival Breeze. As you are transported into a make believe world on screen, don’t be surprised if you start to move. Kids and adults love WaterWorks, the onboard water park with two waterslides and dozens of other ways to get wet.
On the Breeze it’s located on deck 5 midship in the middle of Ocean Plaza, and at the Taste Bar you can taste sample dishes from the steakhouse which are absolutely delicious. The main pool is in the central part of the pool deck right below the huge 270-square-foot LED flat screen that plays nightly movies. This part of the ship is nice and open with two Tiki huts on either side of the pool that offer shade while soaking your feet in the water. The open concept translates to the loungers that surround the pool as well and fan out to offer great seats for watching the LED screen while eating popcorn.
The Carnival Breeze Cloud 9 Spa is a whopping 22,770 square feet and spans two decks forward. From end to end, the Carnival Breeze length equals 1004 feet (307 meters). Compare that to the average ship length of all 26 active vessels in Carnival’s fleet, measuring 982 feet (300 meters). The arcade was surprisingly big aboard the Breeze and was a typical place for kids and teens to hang out, but I made sure I got at least one air hockey game in.
Some of the featured movies were Planet Earth, Ice Age, Happy Feet, Sponge Bob’s Wild Ride. Other dining options included the lido deck buffet which didn’t offer a ton of variety and was hit or miss during dinner time. We got a tour of the entire spa facility on the very first day and you can check out our video of the spa here. If you just want to relax on your cruise and get pampered a little, there is no better place than Cloud 9 Spa. Services offered include facial treatments, massages, body therapy, acupuncture, medi-spa treatments, teeth whitening (Go Smile), salon services. The staff at the spa was very friendly and not pushy at all.
View Carnival's cruise ship staterooms, including suites, balconies, oceanviews and interior staterooms. Plus, Cloud 9 Balconies bring health and wellness to your room. As you set sail, half the fun is keeping an eye on the ocean and enjoying the sea breezes as your ship heads toward paradise. Of course you can always snag a lounge chair by the pool and sip a drink, but for adventure seekers, there’s plenty to keep you occupied while you’re out on deck.
Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort. We're often asked how many passengers are on the Carnival Breeze. When comparing the occupancy to the average Carnival passenger capacity, you'll find that the average ship in the fleet holds 4,084 guests. Feel free to look at our graph above to see where this ship falls in line with all other live Carnival ships.
